Future Developments

Develop and modify other firearms to utilize the system. Continue to seek a source for factory produced brass. At the present time all cartridges must be formed from 30 Carbine brass. Obviously, the ideal situation would be to have brass produced in each caliber. A more likely scenario is production of cases in the .22 caliber version with a .010” thick neck. This would allow sizing down to .20 or .17 caliber, or up to 6mm or 25 caliber, and only changing neck thickness by approximately ± .001”. Except for the most critical of applications, neck turning could be eliminated. Continue development of modification procedures for standard rifle models. Develop standardized procedures for rechambering and modifying existing arms (CZ, Savage etc.) to utilize SureStrike cartridges.
